Approximately 20 toddlers joined the seniors at Spring Hills Lake Mary Assisted Living for a KIDFUN Enrichment Through Literature activity on June 13, 2017. The children, from KinderCare Learning Center, and seniors acted out a story complete with sound effects and hand motions, while one of the participants read a tale during Storytelling. They also acted out their favorite nursery rhymes while the others guessed which rhyme the actors were performing during Nursery Rhyme Charades. The games the children and seniors enjoyed together are inspired by Sharla Feldscher’s book “KIDFUN.”
