The International Drama Club performed original short plays for the senior residents at Spring Hills Middletown Assisted Living on June 6, 2017. They also sang original songs for them. All of the acts and songs had a humorous and uplifting tone helping the seniors adjust to all of the changes in their lives. The performance was followed by a talk with residents.
The International Drama Club is a part of the Covenant Players. They are made up of groups of performers based around the world. The group that came to Spring Hills Middletown is comprised of four performers, three women and one man. The International Drama Club has performed in schools, senior living facilities, jails, juvenile halls as well as across the world. The collective of performers has also performed on every continent, including Antarctica.
