E makaukau! The senior residents were ready to learn the hula dance during a Hawaiian Luau celebration at Spring Hills Middletown Assisted Living on Friday, June 17, 2016. Jess Meyers, hula dancer extraordinaire, performed for the seniors and encouraged them to join in the fun. Everyone received leis for the party which had a tiki bar, frozen drinks, tiki torches and, of course, grass skirts. The seniors also learned the history of the hula dance.
