On Sunday, January 21, the residents at Spring Hills Cherry Hill Assisted Living heard all about Bugs Bunny from a man who was there! Chuck McKibben was the Personal Recording Engineer for Mel Blanc, the man who voiced Bugs Bunny and is known as the “Man of 1,000 Voices”. McKibben told stories from his new book called Mel Blanc, the Voice of Bugs Bunny…and Me: Inside the Studio with Hollywood’s “Man of 1,000 Voices“ including how Looney Tunes got its start and much more of its history.
McKibben is a Broadcast Announcer/Narrator for five decades; the former Hollywood Audio Producer/Studio Manager for the legendary “Man of 1,000 Voices,” Mel Blanc; former New York Advertising Agency Producer/Director for 30 years; and a newly-inducted member of The Broadcast Pioneers of Philadelphia.
