Rio isn’t the only place with Olympics this year! The senior residents at Spring Hills Cherry Hill Assisted Living hosted their own opening ceremony and games in the morning on Friday, August 5, 2016. This Olympic opening ceremony was a festive one as residents marched paper torches in to the games to the sounds of Katy Perry’s new Olympic theme song. They lit the “official Olympic cauldron” and the games began. They played volleyball, ring toss, badminton and more. In addition to the USA, various countries were represented including France, Italy, England and more.
