Youth volunteers from St. Matthias Church played Wii games with the senior residents at Spring Hills Somerset Assisted Living on Monday, September 12, 2016. While everyone was hoping to win, the students ensured that the residents knew how to play various Wii Sports Games.
Before the Wii tournament commenced, Deputy Mayor Phil Kramer kicked off National Assisted Living Week during a special opening ceremony. He was joined by Spring Hills Somerset Resident Council President, John Boucher; local Minister Gwen Livingston; the Spring Hills Somerset bell choir, the Ding Dongs Bell Choir; and more. Deputy Mayor Kramer  read a proclamation and the Ding Dongs played patriotic songs. Refreshments were served.
