Becoming a strong leader that leads by example can successfully inspire employees to become motivated in the workplace. Employees will follow leaders that have integrity. Integrity is to value relationships as well as act with honesty and truthfulness. Leaders who have these values can significantly impact coworker relationships which in return can have positive effects on the company’s work environment. It is important to have a strong leader in the workplace because it can motivate teamwork. According to a study conducted by the NCBI, “effective teamwork is now globally recognized as an essential tool for constructing a more effective and patient-centered health care delivery system.” So how do you successfully lead by example and inspire motivation in the workplace?
Get your hands dirty
It is important to understand what your employees are going through. So sitting back and dictating to others what you want or need to be done can make you prone to being disliked. No one likes doing the dirty work, however, if the leaders are willing to and do something that’s not, ‘their job or responsibility’, can motivate your employees as well as build trust.
