Phone Calls
We understand that the family members are our best resource in understanding the individual in our care better. That is why we have a variety of phone calls with the family members to discuss the process with them. However, at the same time, we understand that family caregivers have busy lives and avoid overcalling to make sure they do not feel pressured in any way. We share the sentiment of AgingCare when they say, “Striking a careful balance is crucial when it comes to…. family involvement at a long-term care facility.” Especially during the discovery process when we are attempting to learn all that we can about the individual, understanding family dynamics can be a big part in assisting us to do that better.
Digital Communication
In today’s world, digital communication has become a huge part of any effective communication plan. According to Binus University, “Digital methods of communication are faster, more versatile, practical and streamlined.” With that in mind, our staff is well-versed in a variety of digital methods of communication including emails, Skype, and other internal trending technology systems. This helps to eliminate any errors or miscommunications during the discovery process and helps to form a successful plan of action for the future.
