Seniors sat down with Congressman Donald Norcross to talk about Alzheimer’s legislation. This round-table discussion allowed approximately 12 Spring Hills Cherry Hill Assisted Living residents, Spring Hills Home Care staff, senior industry care givers and industry professionals, and Alzheimer’s Association staff including the NJ Advocacy Chair to speak frankly with Congressman Norcross and tell their stories about how Alzheimer’s affects them, their family members and clients. The Congressman responded to their concerns with information on what is happening on a legislative level.
The discussion looked at this growing crisis for families and the economy and how the federal government will address the challenges the disease poses as well as what actions will be taken. Some of the topics included:
