“My mom has been under the care of the staff at Atrium Acute care for a while. Mom is 94 years of age and if it was not for the caring staff and professional care given to mom she would not be with us today. Mom started at the assisted living prior to the Acute care center. Compared to other care centers that my friends have their loved ones in the Atrium is the BEST and is highly recommended by me. I thank all that have treated my mom as they would want their loved ones cared for .”

Dad has been receiving wonderful care. This past weekend however, the RN who came through to help dad with meds seemed a bit agitated with him because he was slightly reluctant to take his meds due to difficulty swallowing.

Very clean facility. Friendly and knowledgeable people but severely understaffed unfortunately. Food is average at best. Despite the small problems I would recommend this facility for anyone that needs long-term care. As a resident it is my responsibility to be honest. More staff a little better food it would be five star

I must say, as a resident at Atrium Acute Care, the level of patient care exceeded my expectations. Kudos to the entire nursing staff facilitated by Mrs. Donna and Mrs. Chavez. Both of these leaders were extremely engaging and addressed all of my needs.Nick who represented me as my social worker, worked tiredly attempting to get me home services that are key for my recovery. There was a third party which always complicate matters, however, Nick fought hard to ensure the required services were provided. Even with him out of the office, he still followed through. My physical Therapist Vivian was extremely helpful. She arrived on time everyday ready to work with me. She was very passionate and I will never forget her.James is exceptional!! I was due to be discharged from another hospital on a Friday. I realized, non of my medical equipment that was scheduled to be delivered, never arrived. James called the company numerous times .no response. 7pm evening after James departure from work, he still attempted to find another company to provide adequate equipment for me. This went all the way to 9pm. My release was postponed, however Saturday morning James was still trying to resolve my issue. This level of patient service displays a strong commitment and I cannot thank James enough for his commitment to my matter.I highly recommend Atrium and would like to thank everyone again for their excellence.Brian DuHart

This place killed my sister-in-law. We sued. They are insolvent, under-insured and the owner is facing criminal charges in federal court. Avoid this place - remove your family members.

Every time I visit my Aunt here upon entering you can’t help notice how clean the facility is. Desk staff is always very accommodating! Always water, tea or coffee available for your enjoymentMy Aunt has lots of activities and even though her husband passed this summer, staff checks on her to keep her busy. Her only complaint is the food. I’ve sat with her during lunch or dinner a few times and it’s fair.Overall the atrium of Park Ridge is nestled in beautiful wooded grounds, pretty views, and very very clean all over hallways, and residents apartments.

The Director, Danielle DeVincenzo and her staff have been nothing short of completely amazing! My mother had been admitted to the Atrium Post Acute Care of Park Ridge for rehabilitation after she fell at home. The staff was wonderful and my mother did very well with her rehab there. Once she was released and we brought her home, but it became painfully obvious that she was not safe to be at home alone. I contacted Ms. DeVincenzo and she was just amazing! She spoke to me and helped calm me by understanding the needs of my mother and the needs of the family. Danielle and her staff have all been so kind, helpful, patient and wonderful working with me and my family to help my mom feel happy and secure!! Many, many thanks to all of you! Thank you Danielle, Karla, Thana, Kara, Dee, Fay, Marie B and Marie C. just to name a few that have been so involved with my mother's care, but also thank you to ALL of the staff for caring so much! ❤️

My brother recently went from Post Acute Care and on to Senior Living as we dealt with medical and rehabilitation issues. Our family was new to this phase of life and I was more than pleased to find the key staff personnel were so involved. Specifically the sharing of knowledge to assist in our planning and the top level follow up with information that was critical to my brothers future. For example when we first arrived, I met the person that manages the facility and was later able to get in touch with her and have direct follow up if it was needed. We felt like we mattered. Never left on an island. And now my brother is able to move out on his own... directly leading to an improved life.Sorry to leave, thanks to all.

I am writing this to commend the staff in general at the Atrium. My brother has been in this facility. The nurses and aides have all been very kind and attentive. Now, two physical therapists, Anna and Danielle, have been added to his team. They have gone out of their way to work with my brother and have gained his trust. As a result he has worked harder to improve his condition. I can't commend them enough. James, Celeste, Janet, and Jashema should also be commended.

My experience with Atrium in Park Ridge has been extremely positive. I had many questions and concerns and had no idea where to start with the process involved in entering my family member into a new facility. I met with Danielle DeVincenzo who was fantastic. I came to see her with a list of questions and concerns and she was able to answer all of my questions, provide detailed information and set up appointments for our family member. She also continued to follow up and was genuinely concerned and involved in every step of the process. I feel comfortable knowing that we are in good hands.
