In our industry, working with older individuals who have health concerns and chronic diseases, loss is something our associates, residents, clients, patients and the families we work with are up against daily.

Loss due to an unnecessary, violent act is unimaginable. Our thoughts and prayers are with those who lost a loved one or child and those who are dealing with the aftermath of the trauma caused by the Uvalde, Texas, Elementary School shooting.

Excellent rehab. My mom was there to recover from a surgery, and the staff was fantastic! Everyone was so caring and kind, and the facilities and equipment were first rate. Her room was private, and roomy.

I heard about Spring Hills from a family member who had a stay here some months ago. She raved about how well she was treated and how beautiful the place was. She knew I would love it. As soon as I was told that I had to have additional rehabilitation, I decided that I would come here. I was not disappointed. I was a little fiesty when Ifirst arrived because of the pain i was in. The staff had no problem jumping right in to make sure all my needs were met. I maintained a friendly rapport with everyone Iencountered . I would definitely recommend Spring Hills to anyone who has to have a short or long stay here. I love it so much that when I'm discharged, I will be returning for my outpatient rehabilitation. They deserve each and every star. Their care and concern has outmatched any of the other facilities I've had to stay before. Thank you Sping Hills for all you do!

The facility is very clean. The nurses linda, Bb and marise were kind and helpful to me. In the evening the nurse who took care of me was fantastic. They need more workers like that. My only complaint is the second floor has no microwave. They went to the third floor to help me. The people or are stricken in the bed sometimes need more care. Sometimes the nurses are busy. Overall the therapists are on point. Vikki and Tricia are very attentive and excellent. I now am coming for outpatient therapy. It's a very welcoming environment. The whole office administrative staff is very attentive and listening to what feedback we have to say. Samantha and Ashley and Jesse and kabril were very attentive as well. Occasionally there is a wait when calling the kitchen but they always make sure I get taken care of.

There should be a way to add negative stars…this facility has taken a nose dive since June of 2022. Food is horrible, dinner one night: pork chop and rice, dinner next night: ham steak and rice. Would love the administration to sit down and eat that. Understaffed, staff is unsympathetic and not trained properly. It’s a real shame—walked the halls looking for assistance as ringing for help brought no one…absolutely awful.

After my mom had surgery at Coppeeman St Barnabas, we had to decide where to go for rehab. I asked some friends and they had all had a great experience at SH post acute Livingston. We told the case manager to send her there. We were not disappointed. The care was excellent. Staff was caring, courteous and responsive. She did so well at therapy and is now back home.

Called into the nurses station 3 times. for my mother. Twice I let the phone ring. Once for 8 minutes and another for 25 minutes without an answer. Totally unacceptable!! I was calling between 4:30-5:00PM. Not like I am calling at 2:00AM. I also called the Administrator with no answer. All the while, my mother needs an aide to assist with a situation. Horrible experience. Can’t wait for her to get into another facility. At 6:13PM, I finally got in touch with Maggie, who is addressing my Mom’s situation ASAP. Thank You Maggie.

Perette and marise noelle in nursing were wonderful, attentive, knew their job and performed it with grace. Yolanda and Vivian in therapy both were committed to doing the best they could in rehabilitating me. They keep you motivated at all times. Priya with social services was always busy but able to check in with me and make sure I was taken care of. Kabril was attentive and came through on my requests every time.

My Husband received excellent care at Spring Hills Livingston Sub Acute Rehab Center. The staff was kind, attentive and highly competent! They took excellent care of my husband, made him feel comfortable, and helped him progress. He was initially in Clara Maas and there is no comparison. Spring Hill is on a different playing field. We are grateful to have found Spring Hill in Livingston!

THE WORST PLACE TO BE!!!! I don’t even want to give them 1 star. The nurses and aids don’t even bother to come and attend the patient. I found my mom stinking in her diaper, the other day she was covered in her own vomit. I used to bathe her or ask them to help me clean her but they never used to come on their own. Therapists were excellent Odet and Vicky. Both worked hard on my mom and the case worker Priya was really helpful and always calling or coming to check on mom. My mom was always pressing the bell to call the nurse or aid but they all ignored her. I WILL NEVER EVER RECOMMEND ANYONE TO GO THERE!!!!

Worst place. Rude staff. They take in more patients than the staff can care for. Pressing the "call button" on the remote does nothing. No one comes. My mom can't walk on her own. The physical therapist notes. I don't think anyone even looks at the notes. The nurses take her to the restroom, leave her there and go out of the room helping others. My mom waits for the staff to come back, but again, no one comes. When I am in the room with her, I go looking for nurses to help her. First of all, they are so short staffed, it's hard to find anyone in the lobby. If you do find someone and ask them to call the nurse aid, they make faces and ask you to press the call button (which we already have for a long time). The food here is pathetic too. Stay away from this place.

Spring hills was not only beautiful but some of the staff was so caring. The aide Julie was so nice to my aunt who only spoke Portuguese. While there was a language barrier they always checked on her to make sure she was taken care of. Therapy was attentive in laying her goals out for her to get her walking again.

Recently my elderly mother with dementia went for rehabilitation at Spring Hill for some broken bones suffered during a fall.I want to praise and thank some outstanding staff members for their hard work and dedication to the patients and their excellent communication with me about my mother’s condition.First, Priya the director of social work had impeccable bed side manner during our stay. She was so helpful and a true professional. She is the biggest asset to this facility in my opinion. Thank you for your help and kindness. You are an amazing person. To Poonam and Odette, I really appreciate your hard work and care of taking care of my mom for OT and PT.To Melissa, the Director of Rehabilitation, thank you for your weekly reports of my mother. You are a true class act.Thank you so much to nurses “Q” and Parette, you are both amazing caregivers. You are very valuable to Spring Hill. You should be truly recognized for your hard help.Matulla, the night manger, I thank you for always picking up the phone at night to let me know how my mom was doing. To Princess “Diana” one of our CNA who helped my mom be clean, she was always happy when she saw you.Physicians, Dr Zelener and her team were so approachable, sweet and caring and took great care of my mom.I would have given a 5 star rating except there were a few times I had to stand up to the Administrator in charge and advocate for my mother’s best interests when it should not have been necessary. While these were not life threatening issues, they were important to me and my requests should not have been disregarded. It was unprofessional, rude and disrespectful to treat the concerns of the family with such a flippant attitude. Please advocate for your loved one when going to any facility as with the staff shortage and aides able to help in a timely manner you must make sure your loved one is safe and cared for at all times.

The people here have been so friendly and I have met a lot of nice people. I have nothing bad to say about this place. Looking forward to going home, absolutely!
