Caring to Exceed Expectations

We have learned something in our 20 years of senior care experience: people respond to people. Our associates understand that being attentive to an individuals likes and dislikes is important for their happiness, and happiness is key to the health of body, mind and spirit. This is the essence of Signature Touches, our holistic approach to living. Our clinicians know that the more they engage patients face-to-face, the more that patient feels cared for and accountable to following their recovery plan. “My friend was a resident at Spring Hills for only a few months while she was recovering from a long term illness. I was in charge of helping her coordinate her appointments and other medical issues. The minute I walked into Spring Hills for a tour I felt that this was a happy place. There is such a friendly atmosphere you immediately have a feeling of family. Everyone we came in contact with took the time to pause and say hello. The staff is dedicated to meeting the individual needs of the residents. The food is wonderful and served restaurant style. There are a variety of activities offered each day in which the residents can participate. Since I was in charge of my friend’s doctors’.”

Spring Hills Hamilton had an amazing Success Story recently! Mary came to us having a chronic g-tube, sepsis and even COVID. She was dependent for all her care but now, she's able to walk and no longer needs her g-tube! She was very happy with her stay at Hamilton, with the community showcasing her discharge below!

I was referred to SH from A Place for Mom. I've had several interactions with this community. Most specifically, Ms. Latasha White, Community Relations Specialist. My experience has been nothing but positive. Although we are not quite ready for this move due to medical reasons, SH would be at the top for AL needs.Ms. White is a PERFECT AMBASSADOR for Spring Hills. One conversation and you will know what I mean.Thank you, Ms. White for being proactive, videos, invites, and continuing to work for us.

I was so pleasantly surprised after researching numerous retirement homes for my mother. They really came through for me. I felt like I was their only client! I can’t say enough good things about the staff and management at Spring Hill of Mt Vernon. Thanks so much.

Skipped this place if you can. Covid restrictions are in place. Staffing is thin especially on weekends and holidays. No bus driver and resident concierge. Activities director is very good but wears many hats. Communication between staff members, not there. You have to stay on top of what is going on and advocate for your love one. Feedback is received but actions not always. If you live at a distance and expect the care you are promised, don’t. The quality of care is dependent upon the experience level of the caregiver assigned to you that day. It is inconsistent. Property needs updating as well as the courtyard, gazebo, interior rooms, etc… staffing needs dementia training. Changes in ED, twice in a year. The only plus to this place is the new ED is an RN.
